MAIN STREET VINELAND’S SECOND CRAFTS AND ANTIQUES SHOW ON THE AVE POSTPONED TO DATE TO BE DETERMINED
Postponement Because of Inclement Weather for Entire Weekend
Main Street Vineland’s second Crafts and Antiques Show on The Ave, originally scheduled for this weekend, is being further postponed to a date because of anticipated inclement weather the entire weekend.
“With rain and wind forecast for Saturday and Sunday, we thought that it would be best to postpone the event and work on scheduling it for another time,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “We will notify the public of the new date, when it is determined.”
With a large market existing for good quality crafts and antiques, Main Street Vineland has again been working with a firm that has a large database of crafters and antique dealers. This will be a juried show with the firm and Main Street Vineland taking part in the participant selection process. Merchants on The Ave are also being invited to participate in the sidewalk sale aspect of the event.
“The response from our first show last November was such that we want to bring it back,” Swanson said. “These shows attract a good number of vendors, of which we had over 40 reserved for the original date, and interested parties who come to look for fine crafts and antiques. We’re proud to add this as another strong part of our calendar of events and look forward to rescheduling.”
