Memories Being Made at Storybook Land for 64 Years
Opening in 1955 in Egg Harbor Township, Storybook Land has kept the spirit of an entertaining and educational atmosphere alive for children for over 60 years. From the moment you walk in, you are transported into a storybook with adventure waiting around every turn. The park is ideal for children up to 7 years old and their parents.
Storybook Land brings your childhood to life with all-time favorite stories and nursery rhyme themes throughout the park. Children can regularly experience encounters with characters like Snow White and Humpty Dumpy and also attend special seasonal events such as princess tea parties and pirate adventure days held by Storybook Land to make every visit feel special and new. The Holiday season is very special at Storybook Land. Beginning in the fall, the park celebrates with hay rides and pumpkin decorating for everyone to enjoy. The Holiday season at Storybook Land starts November 16th and runs to December 30th. Christmas Fantasy with Lights has been a South Jersey Tradition for over 25 years. Families can also celebrate the holidays with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Lights Parade. There is even a Christmas in July celebration at Storybook Land so guests can keep the holiday spirit all year long.
With 16 different family fun rides suitable for children and their parents you can expect everyone in your family to have a good time. Your family can cool off on a hot day at the Storybook Seaport or take a scenic ride on the railroad. You can experience a little bit of the holidays all year with attractions like Santa’s Workshop and the North Pole. If you family isn’t ready for rides yet, there are plenty of other attractions for kids to enjoy like Cinderella’s Pumpkin Coach and Alice in Wonderland’s Tunnel. There are plenty of fun animal interactions throughout the park including Mary’s little lamb, a big bird exhibit, and a Billy Goat area where you can fill a bucket with food and watch them pull the bucket up with a rope. The park itself is clean, shady and easy to navigate, making it easy for families with small children to enjoy all the park has to offer.
Along with fun rides and characters, the park features 5 unique places for families to grab a snack or a meal together. Dinning Depot, one of the dining options, recently came out with a new menu to cater to vegetarian and gluten-free families.
