Halloween weekend is almost here and New Jersey’s Heartland is in the spirit with events and festivities happening throughout the Heartland! Kick off your weekend with Downtown Hammonton’s annual Trick or Treat or at the Cohanzick Zoo’s Boo-At-The-Zoo!
11th Annual Downtown Trick or Treat
Downtown Hammonton
Saturday, October 22 | 1pm to 3pm | Free
Main Street Hammonton along with the downtown merchants will hosting the 11th Annual Downtown Trick or Treat! Local businesses will be handing out treats to children and offering kid friendly activities including face painting, crafts and games!
Festivities will be held from Third Street to Egg Harbor Road along Bellevue Avenue and Central Ave. Your Way DJ’s will provide the entertainment on Central Ave to add to the “Kid’s Halloween Central” which will offer many fun activities such as a Football Toss, Soccer Kick, Spin the Wheel and so much more.

The Salem County Historical Society will be hosting the Salem City Walking Ghost Tour in conjunction with both Royal Port Antiques and Music around the County. The tour will begin and end at Royal Port Antiques and refreshments will be available there after the tour. All proceeds will directly benefit the John S. Rock Memorial Scholarship at Salem Community College.
