New Jersey’s Heartland Teams Up with ARH Associates to “Send Local Dining to the Heroes Front Lining”
(VINELAND, NJ – April 16, 2020) – In New Jersey’s Heartland, our biggest treasures are the people who make our region a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family. We showcase all the great work happening now on the frontlines during the coronavirus crisis. We recently updated our website to include a resources section for individuals and families most impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
In this time of great need, New Jersey’s Heartland has decided to partner with ARH Associates to promote their action of supporting the hospitals, medical complexes, and first responders. The initiative, named “Send Local Dining to the Heroes Front Lining”, collects donations to purchase food directly from locally-owned restaurants and eateries and deliver at no charge to our healthcare heroes on the front lines.
The initiative kicked off in Hammonton and was a success with multiple restaurants participating to provide food donations to two area hospitals. The restaurants participating included Andy’s Pizza, Kitchen 19, El Nuevo Mariachi Loco, and Ohana Juice Bar.
Richard Rehman, President of ARH Associates, stated “While the program was originally inspired by our neighbors in downtown Hammonton, we quickly decided to expand it based on the responses the idea has received from the restaurant community, elected officials and community leaders throughout the State.”
Fran Sykes, President/Founder, The Pascale Sykes Foundation and driving force behind New Jersey’s Heartland stated “We are glad to see it’s off to a wonderful start to help our healthcare heroes in three out of the four counties of New Jersey’s Heartland: Cumberland, Gloucester, and Western Atlantic. We are also very excited that Salem County will soon be added to the list and this relief effort and worthwhile initiative will encompass all of New Jersey’s Heartland.”
As we seek to expand this initiative to our nurses and doctors on the frontlines throughout New Jersey’s Heartland, we hope that you too will be able to join us in this worthwhile cause and initiative by sharing this news and donating, suggesting a restaurant, or recommending a hospital to ARHInTheCommunity.com. The site has officially launched with 28 restaurants across 5 New Jersey counties, 3 of which are in New Jersey’s Heartland. This is a list that Rehmann says he expects to grow. With your support, we can help meet the demand and make a difference to our heroes on the frontline.
