Pastor Gary N. Stiegler
Reverend Gary N. Stiegler, or “Pastor Gary” as he is known, is the spiritual leader of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vineland. He is active in a number of communities and initiatives throughout New Jersey’s Heartland, including projects like the Critical Incident Stress Foundation, International Conference of Police Chaplains, Bay Shore Center at Bivalve, The Long Term Recovery Group, Family Promise of Cumberland County, and the Vineland Rotary Club.
Pastor Gary has traveled internationally with his wife, Jan, helping people around the globe. In 2001, the couple visited Bosnia and Croatia as part of a New Jersey Synod team “to bring hope and care to orphaned children.” In 2006, Pastor Gary toured the Holy Land with the United Jewish Communities and Jewish Council for Public Affairs. In 2010, he and members of his congregation traveled to Mississippi to build a home for Habitat of Humanity.
For his altruistic work and contributions both home and abroad, we are proud to name Pastor Gary a Heartland Hero.
