“Peace On Earth” To Be Theme Of Main Street Vineland Christmas Parade On November 28
Positive Message of Joy and Calm in These Turbulent Times
Sponsored by Century Savings Bank
Additional Sponsorship Opportunities Available
VINELAND, NJ—”Peace on Earth” is to be the theme of this year’s Main Street Vineland Christmas Parade, to take place on Saturday, November 28 (rain date: Sunday, November 29) at 5 p.m., on Landis Avenue, in Vineland.
The parade, a longtime Vineland holiday tradition, will have as its major sponsor this year Century Savings Bank and will again feature a contest for the best floats. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
To promote the theme of peace and calm during these turbulent times, floats this year are to be decorated to honor persons in history who have worked toward the spread of peace in our world, such as Jesus, Moses, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, or any other choice, past or present.
Registration for participates and vendor applications will be through the Main Street Vineland website—www.TheAve.biz—and we posted on a future date to be announced.
“With all the conflicts, challenges, and other troubles our world is facing now, we decided on a parade theme to promote peace, calm, and a spirit of togetherness,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “We are rolling the message out especially early to provide some upbeat news and to get people to start thinking positively. The Christmas Parade, being one of the biggest downtown events of the year, is just right for this focus.”
