PSE&G Offers Energy Efficiency Assistance for Non-Profits

PSE&G is offering eligible non-profits an opportunity to access significant energy efficiency improvements and cost savings. Non-profits that own or rent their facilities may be eligible to participate.
The PSE&G Energy Saver Program PSE&G’s Energy Saver program can help non-profit customers with 501(c)(3) or (c)(19) tax-exempt status make energy efficiency improvements that can save energy, cut costs, and reduce carbon emissions. The deadline to apply is September 30, 2020.
Eligible energy efficient upgrades include lighting retrofits including sensors and controls, HVAC equipment, refrigeration and motors as well as site-specific custom projects.PSE&G will provide a free on-site energy audit, recommend energy efficiency upgrades and provide a detailed cost estimate.
PSE&G pays 100 percent of the upfront costs and the work is done by an authorized contractor. When the work is complete, participants repay only 30 percent of the total, interest free over 36 months on their PSE&G bill (or in one lump sum payment if they prefer).
The program has already helped hundreds of customers become more energy efficient, with some saving up to 30 percent on their energy costs.
