Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Gala In Downtown Vineland
VINELAND, NJ—A formal ribbon-cutting gala for 13 new businesses at The Spot, downtown Vineland’s indoor craft, boutique, antique, and shoptique mall, located at 618 E. Landis Ave., will take place on Friday, October 30, at 12 p.m.
The ceremony, which will help celebrate The Spot’s fifth anniversary, is organized by Main Street Vineland in partnership with the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce. It will include attendance by Main Street Vineland, Chamber of Commerce, city, county, state, and federal representatives. The public is invited to the event.
The businesses specialize in a variety of items, include homemade crafts, vintage collectables, creative art work, sports paraphernalia, home décor, furniture, recordings, and more.
“This is still one more step in establishing vibrant, successful, businesses on The Ave,” said Main Street Vineland Executive Director Russell Swanson. “In doing this, we are helping our existing businesses stay successful and viable and, at the same time, working to bring new businesses to our downtown.”
Main Street Vineland Business Development Director Robert Scarpa sees such ribbon-cuttings such as more reason to make The Ave your destination for eating, drinking, shopping, taking advantage of various services that are offered, and just having a great time.
“The Ave has become a sought-after destination for prospective owners of a broad range of businesses,” he said. “I receive plenty of inquiries from people who hear of the tremendous things happening on The Ave and want to open here.”
“This, in turn, means more foot traffic for people coming The Ave to shop, to work, be entertained, and also to live,” Scarpa said. “Stay tuned for even more success stories.”
“The downtown business climate has a ripple effect on all of Vineland,” said Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dawn Hunter. “So many people look to the downtown as the heart and soul of a city and that is why I am excited when we can celebrate new businesses in the downtown, as well as the staying power of our established businesses there.”
