Rowan College at Gloucester County hosts anime convention KotoriCon
Get ready to watch a performance, buy some merch, and more as the Japanese Anime Guild at Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) will be presenting KotoriCon! Nicknamed, “The little anime con with a big heart”, Kotoricon is one of the only anime conventions in New Jersey’s Heartland, so you do not want to miss out!
In its 10th year, Kotoricon’s theme this year will be “Mecha”, translated as “robot anime”. Dress up as your favorite characters from anime like Code Geass, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and more!
There will be panels, live performances, dealers, artists, and even a Charity Auction! Over the years, the RCGC Japanese Anime Guild has been able to raise $40,000 towards charity, and they are looking to increase that number this year!
The event will be taking place on Friday night, January 11th from 4pm to 8:30pm and all-day Saturday from 10am to 9pm. It is located at 1400 Tanyard Road, Sewell, NJ at RCGC.
Tickets are only purchased online: there is no way to purchase tickets at the door. They go for around $37 after tax. The event is known to sell out, so make sure you get your tickets fast!
