Sip, Savor and Connect at the Taste of Community on April 23
It’s the Volunteer Center of South Jersey’s premier event of the year at the Taste of Community Event on April 23. We’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of this signature fundraiser benefitting the Volunteer Center of South Jersey. Guests can enjoy fine wines, sample delectable foods from local South Jersey restaurants and establishments, and mingle with business partners and community friends. This year’s line-up includes: Auletto Caterers, Carolina Blue Smokehouse & Taproom, Cinder Bar, Coriander Indian Bistro, Dyana’s Party Rentals, Dippy’s Ice Cream, Indiya: Flavors of India, Kitchen 519, Mission BBQ, Oasis Mexican Grille, Outback Steakhouse, Seasons 52, The Telford Inn, Riverview Inn, The Village Pub, and Villari’s Lakeside Restaurant & Bar.
During the event, guests can also participate in a basket auction for lavish prizes donated by local businesses. All proceeds benefit the Volunteer Center of South Jersey. The main event of the evening begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $55. For an additional $20, guests can participate in the VIP portion of the evening beginning at 5 p.m. with the Sunset Garden and Wine Cellar Reception.
The Volunteer Center’s mission is to change lives, empower families, and improve the community through volunteerism and the support of local non-profit organizations.
The Volunteer Center promotes volunteerism in the region and connects both individuals and businesses with opportunities to serve. The Center also achieves its mission by creating best practice tools and by offering educational, consulting, and other support services to help our non-profit partners grow and serve the community.
