Stand-Up Comedy Night Makes Hilarious Return to Eagle Theatre
Stand-Up Comedy Night at the Eagle Theatre in Hammonton has become a New Jersey’s Heartland Holiday Tradition. So if you want to enjoy some Ho, Ho, Ho’s and make your season really jolly, you’ll want to get tickets to the 6 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. Stand-Up Comedy Night shows on Saturday, December 21, 2019.
This year marks the fourth straight season in the Stand-Up Comedy Night Series, and the 2019 edition promises to be one of the funniest ever. Kevin Hurley, the Eagle Theatre’s favorite comedian, MainStage Production performer and Sarcasm Comedy Club Competition winner, will be back to host a lineup that features some of the hottest and funniest comedians in the country. A featured host at the Helium comedy club and regular at The Stress Factory and the Gotham, Kevin was the winner of The Stress Factory’s 2014 March Madness Competition.
As host of Stand-Up Comedy Night, Kevin gathers the best regional comics in producing these high-quality comedy shows at the Eagle, and this year will be no different. Headlining the show will be Tom Thakkar, who comes to New Jersey’s Heartland from Brooklyn by way of Chicago and Indiana. Thakkar has hosted Comedy Central Radio/SiriusXM’s You Up with Nikki Glaser, while creating and hosting Stand By Your Band alongside friend and co-host Tommy McNamara. He’s also been a featured comic at Just for Laughs in Montreal, Bridgetown, Limestone, and many more comedy festivals. Throughout Tom’s comedy career he has been chosen to be a finalist for NBC Stand Up for Diversity and featured on Doug Loves Movies, in Vice Magazine, and on The Todd Glass Show.
Stand-Up Comedy Night is recommended for audience ages 16 and above. Tickets are $25 per person and available by visiting https://www.eagletheatre.org/stand-up-comedy-night/. Free on-site parking is available.
