Storybook Land, a Children’s Paradise in South Jersey

One of New Jersey’s Heartland’s most beloved children’s destinations, Storybook Land has been providing children with life-long memories for over 60 years. Built in 1955 by the Fricano family – and owned and operated by the same family ever since – Storybook Land places an emphasis on good old-fashioned fun for the entire family. Conveniently located on the Black Horse Pike, just 10 miles outside of Atlantic City, Storybook Land has been a South Jersey tradition for families in the region for decades.     

The owners of Storybook Land pride themselves on offering a clean, safe and positive experience for youngsters, even if it’s a child’s first trip to an amusement park. The pay-one-price admission allows guests unlimited rides, as well as access to all of the storybook-themed attractions. Additionally, the Fricano family is committed to providing unique, family-friendly seasonal experiences – including the ever-popular, park-wide Fall and Christmas events each year. Now that the weather is warming up, Storybook Land’s summer attraction, The Seaport, allows children to cool off any time on hot summer days from late June to Labor Day!

With many children-themed dining options inside the park, your young ones will be able to fill their tummies at such places as the “Gingerbread House Snack Bar,” “Dining Depot,” and “Caboose Café.” During the spring and summer months, “The Watering Can” serves treats like Philadelphia water ice and funnel cake, while serving popcorn and hot chocolate during the fall and winter.
