The 33rd Annual Red, White & Blueberry Festival Is Back
The Greater Hammonton Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with AMI/AtlantiCare is celebrating its 33rd Annual Red White and Blueberry Festival on June 30th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. located in Hammonton – The Blueberry Capital of the World. Blueberries are synonymous with the town of Hammonton. All of the town’s welcome signs refer to it as “the blueberry capital of the world,” which is one of the reasons they dedicate the fruit to the annual festival each year. The blueberry picking and packing season usually begins around mid June and ends in early August, which means the blueberries are at their prime!
The free-to-attend and park gathering features live music, kiddie rides, a huge classic car show, arts and crafts, stilt walkers, jugglers, and of course the day would not be complete without all thing’s blueberry. Blueberry plants, cannolis, pies, crates of fresh blueberries and so much more will be on hand, along with a ton of craft vendors. For something a little more filling, check out the other food vendors participating. Come early to participate in the Hammonton Kiwanis Club’s annual blueberry pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the festival grounds.
After enjoying the taste of fresh blueberries, experience the sounds of STEALING SAVANAH, South Jersey’s most dynamic Party Cover Band; one of the area’s Favorite DJ’s – Nicky G, plus balloon sculptures, stilt walkers and jugglers add to the festive atmosphere., as they bring their mix of Rock ‘n Roll, Pop and Dance Music to the Red, White & Blueberry Festival. From appearances at local casinos and all over the East Coast, as well as South Jersey’s top clubs and festivals they are back for again! Playing a little bit of everything, “SS” is always a crowd-pleaser, whatever musical genre you prefer.
