Tim Ewing Receives September 2021 New Jersey’s Heartland Hero Award
Tim Ewing is the founder of Kindred Ministries. This Christian-based organization provides free concerts featuring local artists. Tim has collaborated with various churches and youth groups to provide a valuable community service of spreading joy through music.
Each year, Kindred Ministries nominates musicians of many genres from New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New York in a music award ceremony called Kindred Awards. The objective is to recognize local artists, who are not necessarily signed to a record label, to give them an award and a platform for their artistry.
This year marks the sixth annual Kindred Awards. The award ceremony consists of more than 10 categories, including contemporary, rap, gospel, folk, worship, Spanish, R&B, Christmas music, and more. The concerts, award ceremonies, and community events serve as a positive experience for the musicians and concertgoers. “I do it because I feel called by God and encouraged to have people connecting with each other,” states Tim Ewing.
For all of these reasons, New Jersey’s Heartland is proud to honor Tim Ewing of Clayton, New Jersey, as the September 2021 Heartland Hero Winner.
NJHeartland.org is extremely honored to thank Tim Ewing of Clayton, New Jersey, and name him the Heartland Hero for September 2021. Tim is the founder of Kindred Ministries and the Kindred Awards.
While New Jersey’s Heartland is filled with hidden gems, its biggest treasures are the people who make the region a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
