Toy Market: Brings Fun and Learning Together

Make toy shopping fun again with the Toy Market in Hammonton and Smithville, NJ. Toy Market, founded in 2012 in Downtown Hammonton, is South Jersey’s largest independent toy store and was voted South Jersey Magazine’s Best Toy Shop in 2016. Downtown Hammonton is an award-winning historic main street that has become a destination for festivals, parades and special events. Being in the middle of this provided them with a constant flow of local business allowing them to grow to their new location in Smithville, NJ.

The Toy Market has expanded to a second store in Historic Smithville. What once started as a simple stage coach shop, Historic Smithville over the last 60 years has turned into a mecca for small businesses to blossom.

This past winter they had a pop up shop at DiDonato’s Family Fun Center Magical Express.

At any of the Toy Market stores, you can find a variety of toys that are fun, and help build growing minds.  Their toys are educational and active. They have unique games, puzzles, puppets, play food, dolls and more for toddlers to teens.  With fresh toys arriving daily, there’s always something new at Toy Market.

Toys are not all Toy Market is about though. They create an experience for children and their parents to bond. At one of their two main locations, you can find fun monthly classes and events for you and your children. Some classes they have are Snow Globe Making, Puppet Palooza, and 3D Sand Painting. One of the events Toy Market has put on in the past is Touch a Truck, where kids got to be up close and personal with big trucks, construction equipment, tractors and more.
