United States Air Force Heritage Brass To Give Free Concert At Landis Theater In Vineland On March 14
VINELAND, NJ—Enjoy a free concert by the United States Air Force ‘Heritage Brass of the USAF Heritage of America Band at the Landis Theater, on Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m., at the Landis Theater, 830 E. Landis Ave., Vineland.
This concert, presented by Main Street Vineland, is sponsored by Samuel Coraluzzo Co., Inc./Torrissi Transport.
Heritage Brass is a pioneering symphonic brass ensemble that brings the military tradition of brass and percussion to the concert stage. This ensemble of professional Airmen-musicians presents a diverse repertoire featuring orchestral transcriptions, patriotic favorites, jazz standards, new compositions, and distinctive arrangements. Enjoy hearing this ensemble in an exhilarating musical experience.
Activated in 1941, The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band has a rich history of inspiring public and enhancing esprit de corps among all the United States military service branches. These world-class musicians are stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, VA. They travel throughout the Carolinas, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast regions, presenting over 300 events annually for the general public and in support of Airman morale and protocol events. Under the leadership of Major Raphael Toro-Quinones, the USAF Heritage of America Band remains at the forefront of communicating Air Force core values, and preserving and enriching America’s military and musical heritage into the 21st century.
Heritage Brass represents Air Force professionals serving across the globe, showcasing the service’s excellence and precision in performances throughout the eastern seaboard. Consisting of ten brass players and a percussionist, the ensemble’s innovative approach allows them to perform as a large symphonic group and as an intimate chamber ensemble.
