Vickie Mortiz-Sippel

You won’t meet a woman as giving and as selfless as Vickie Moritz-Sippel every day. A resident of Little Egg Harbor, Vickie adopted her son, Chris Moritz, a special needs child, when he was 10 years old. Afterward, she adopted two more little boys. Vickie always lent a hand to family members who needed financial or emotional assistance. The previous owner of several local businesses, Vickie now drives a van for residents at a senior living facility while caring for her elderly mother. If somebody ever needs anything, Vickie is always a step ahead, helping in any way she can. Her caring nature and commitment to helping others is what makes Vickie our February Heartland Hero.
