Annual Asparagus Festival presented by Harrison Township Historical Society to celebrate the first air shipment of fresh produce in the United States – 1000 lbs. of asparagus direct from Mullica Hill to Boston in 1922.
This event is scheduled on Saturday, May 13, 2023, 10 am – 3 pm at our Historic Old Town Hall located at 64 South Main Street, Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Celebrate Spring – Fun for the whole family!
Battle of the Chefs Asparagus recipe tasting and you get to vote on your favorite! (Jim Malaby of blueplate, Anthony Marino of Marino’s, and David Wiederholt of 322 BBQ).
Tasting is $15 for adults and $5 for children
Additional activities include Scavenger Hunt and other Children’s Activities
