Visit WheatonArts and Cultural Center As They Host Their Annual “Holiday Glass in the Studio” Event While You Still Can!
Go visit the WheatonArts and Cultural Center’s annual, “Holiday Glass in the Studio”, located in Millville, to watch their artists create Holiday Glass themed objects live in the studio! Mark your calendars, because December 15th and 22nd are the last days you can attend this event, as WheatonArts will be closing shop for the season, reopening in April 2019. Located in the Event Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., prepare to be amazed at the live creation of holiday-themed glass objects, large and small, throughout the day.
Home of the Creative Glass Center of America (CGCA), objects like a record-breaking giant glass ornament, the world’s largest glass turkey drumstick, and an amazing 5’7 tall glass menorah have been created in past years and are available for you to marvel at the Holiday Glass in the Studio event. This year, students and community members came together to create a massive glass gingerbread man that you do not want to miss!
Can’t make it out to see live glass blowing on the 15th or 22nd? No worries! WheatonArts is open Tuesday through Sunday throughout December (closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., where you can visit the Holiday Gift Gallery. Browse a variety of unique and handcrafted art to find unique Christmas gifts that don’t break the bank. Some products available for purchase at the Holiday Gift Gallery include metal ornaments, wooden kaleidoscopes, whimsical clocks, and more!
